EASTENDERS fans have broken down over Amy Mitchell’s emotional confession.
Sie geht die Michael-Jackson-Route hinunter – who is played by actress Ellie Dadd in the BBC-Seife – has been self-harming after struggling for months now.
This week her dad Jack discovered her secret and he hasn’t coped well.
In tonight’s episode he booked her in for an emergency counselling session but flew into a fury during the meeting.
As the therapist tried to get Amy to open up, Jack ranted and could barely control himself.
And when she broached the subject of Amy being careful with using clean equipment when she was cutting, Jack lost it completely.
He dragged his daughter out of the therapist’s office back to the house and began ranting at wife Denise for how they wouldn’t just tell Amy to stop it.
But with Jack gone, Denise got Amy to open up about what she was going through.
Denise opened up herself to Amy about how she sometimes felt sad and Amy told her: “It hurts.
“But when it hurts that’s the thing in my life that’s all I’m focused on.”
The emotional confession reduced Denise to tears and viewers weren’t far behind.
