A News UK spokeswoman said: “No parent would choose for their child to be in hospital at Christmas and we’re really happy to support this very worthwhile cause”.
They made it despite COVID-19 putting paid to many of the usual festive events arranged by Hull Hospitals charity, WISHH.
His mum, Ann-Louise, 37, dicho: “When Lewis came to see him he was so happy. It’s the first time he’d smiled in days.”
