AN Antiques Roadshow guest was left speechless after an expert revealed her local dealer made a BIG mistake with her jewellery.
In a recent episode of the BBC show, a woman enlisted help from expert John Benjamin to find out the real value of her two brooches.
As she showed off her heirlooms, John was amazed at how well kept they were.
One was in the shape of a heart which had pearls and a ribbon wrapped around it.
The other was a beautiful flower design.
The guest, who was given the jewellery by an old neighbour, had previously taken them to a dealer to find out their worth.

However they offered her a very little amount of money for them.
The woman explained: “I did take them to Cardiff and showed a local dealer, and he offered me a £180 for the both of them.”
John was over the moon to tell her how much they would actually sell for.
The expert said: “This little sentimental sweet brooch would sell in auction for probably £250 to £300.

Earlier this week viewers were left gobsmacked after two guests brought an incredible moment of history onto the BBC show.
Antiques expert Hilary Kay spoke to the son and daughter of Sidney Daniels, a survivor of the Titanic.
Sidney worked as a plate washer on the famous ship, aged only 18, and managed to survive the disaster.
The guests’ late father managed to keep a letter with him, which had been water damaged but was still readable.
