CRYSTAL PALACE are the current favourites to re-sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United this summer.
Sky Bet are offering 3/1 odds for the right back to return to his former club, with Everton, Leeds and Newcastle also deemed to be interested.
The 24-year-old signed for Manchester United from Palace in the summer of 2019 for club record departure fee of £50m, having joined Palace’s academy as an 11-year-old.
The right-back has made 126 appearances in his three years at Old Trafford, which included a run to the final of last season’s Europa League.
Having been United’s first choice in the right back position ever since his signing, Wan-Bissaka has made just seven appearances since Ralf Rangnick took over as caretaker manager at the start of December.
It seems that Diogo Dalot, who is two years younger than Wan-Bissaka, is now the Old Trafford club’s current first choice pick in the position.
Right back has the been the main weak spot in Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace’s side ever since Wan-Bissaka’s departure, especially having signed major improvements across the majority of other positions in that time.
Nathaniel Clyne and Martin Kelly are both out of contract at the end of this season, and Joel Ward only has a year left on his, leaving a new right-back a main priority for this summer’s transfer window.

- Palazzo di cristallo 3/1
- Everton 9/1
- Leeds 12/1
- Newcastle 14/1
Everton are also thought to be interested in acquiring Wan-Bissaka’s services next season. Jonjoe Kenny’s contract at Goodison Park expires this summer, and the 33-year-old Seamus Coleman only has one more year on his.
This leaves Nathan Patterson as the only remaining right-back for Everton, having signed for £13m from Rangers in January.
The 20-year-old has only managed 45 minutes of first team football since his arrival, after he was substituted at half time during an FA Cup match against non-league Boreham Wood.
Sky Bet are offering 12/1 odds for Leeds to sign Wan-Bissaka, though with the Yorkshire side also the current favourites to be the third relegated side, it seems unlikely the defender would move to a Championship club.
Newcastle are also in the picture, secondo Sky Bet, though having only signed Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid in January, it’s improbable they’d splash too much cash on another right-back in such a short space of time.
