DERRY Girls fans were left open-mouthed by two HUGE celeb cameos in the tear-jerker finale.

Derry Girls hit our screens in 2018 and has had three successful series over the past four years.

Un tercero intervino: “Incredible how Liam Neeson captured all those years on his face in this tiny scene, incredible no words, what a powerful finale #DerryGirls.”
“There’s just something about Liam Neeson’s facial expression in this shot from last nights #DerryGirls that says a lot about his acting abilities No words we’re needed what was it all for the thoughts at that time I’m really proud to say he’s a Ballymena man,” a fourth added.
Liam is an award-winning actor from Northern Ireland who has starred in he likes of The Bounty, The Mission, Next of Kin, Schindler’s List and The Chronicles of Narnia.
But he wasn’t the only star who appeared in the episode.
During season two, Irlanda (Saoirse-Monica Jackson), Orla (Louisa Harland), Clare (Nicola Coughlan) and Michelle (Jamie-Lee O’Donnell), and James (Dylan Llewellyn) wrote to the global health advocate.
The teens never got a reply, but during the finale, a scene from the present day in New York saw Chelsea read out the letter.
The 42-year-old’s appearance left fans lost for words.
Uno escribió: “Howling that they acc got Chelsea Clinton to be in derry girls last episode was so good.”
Otro dijo: “ok getting chelsea clinton is iconic as all f**k but i got so excited thinking we were getting a present day epilogue.”
Un tercero agregado: “Having a good weep at the end of #DerryGirls. Somehow comedies often capture the poignancy and atmosphere of times better than drama. DG has with the dilemma of the Good Friday Agreement vote as Blackadder did with the Somme. And the Chelsea Clinton letter callback? Cracker!”
Un cuarto intervino: “Can’t believe they got Chelsea Clinton in #DerryGirls that was such a good ending, from start to finish I loved this show, highly recommend watching it!!”
The teen sitcom follows the lives of a group of girls who go to an all-girls Catholic secondary school.
Derry Girls came to and end because the show is about teenage girls, and by the end of season 3 they are adults and heading off in different paths.
And unfortunately there won’t be a spin-off.
Creator Lisa has confirmed to Digital Spy: “I wouldn’t do a spin-off now, and I have no plans to do a spin-off.”

Ella añadió: “I have all this stuff that’s been put to one side because I wanted to finish Derry Girls properly, and put all my focus on that and do it justice, but those things have to sort of move up the queue.
“So I wouldn’t be able to make another for a while even if I wanted to.”
