BRITNEY SPEARS fans slammed Jamie Lynn Spears as a ‘money grabber that won’t go away’ for her upcoming TV interview.
The pop star’s younger sister – whom Britney, 39, earlier shaded as her “so-called support system” – will discuss her memoir and even the now-ended conservatorship.
The caption described the sit-down as “her first TV interview on her personal memoir ‘Things I Should Have Said’.” And a voice over the clip teased, “What will she say? What does she want you to know about her family?”
Britney fans slammed Jamie Lynn as a “money grabber” even before the special aired as her relationship with the pop superstar is fraught.
One tweeted: “With whose money was this interview bought? What is the relevance of this horrible human being to be there and through whom she achieved this? JL, you need to understand that NO ONE cares what you have to say.”
“Jamie Lynn is like idk a wart that won’t go away,” wrote a second.
A third chimed in: “Jamie Lynn Spears is full of sh*t! I mean, come on!!! Would she be doing an ‘exclusive’ interview with Good Morning America about her autobiography if Britney was still under her Conservatorship? NOPE! All for money and for her to spread more lies.”

BRITNEY & JAMIE LYNN’S ‘TOXIC’ YEAR
Britney has been vocal about her freedom – and her comparatively quiet family members – since her big conservatorship win in July.
Britney recently appeared to have unfollowed Jamie Lynn on Instagram.
Britney also accused Jamie Lynn of being a “mean a**,” and remixing one of her songs in 2017 and performing it live without her permission.
In July, when Britney was freed, she shaded Jamie Lynn by accusing her of being her “so-called support system.”
The hitmaker wrote, in part: “I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes!!!!! My so-called support system hurt me deeply!!!!
“This conservatorship killed my dreams … so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill… yet people still try!!!”
Jamie Lynn performed alongside fellow singers Kelsea Ballerini, Hailee Steinfeld, and others to a remixed medley of Britney’s biggest songs at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.
As her older sister sat in the audience and watched, Jamie Lynn came out to sing Britney’s 2011 smash Till The World Ends.
BOOK TITLE BLUNDER
Jamie Lynn changed the title of the book in October after getting slammed by fans for using a Britney quote as the title.
The book will be part of what she is discussing on GMA.
The memoir was originally titled I Must Confess, which would seem like a nod to Britney’s 1998 debut single, …Baby One More Time.
“We deeply regret that incorrect and incomplete information about her book has appeared in the public space, particularly at this sensitive time for Jamie Lynn and her family,” Jamie Lynn’s publishing company, Worthy Publishing, said in a statement via Instagram at the time.
They added that the “as-yet-untitled memoir” was “still in development.”
She uploaded a picture of herself gasping, with the caption:
“Psssssss also great news … I’m thinking of releasing a book next year but I’m having issues coming up with a title so maybe my fans could help !!!!
“Option #1 … “S**t, I really don’t know” Option #2 … “I really care what people think” !!!!” What do you guys think ????”
JAMIE LYNN GETS VOCAL, BUT NOT ABOUT BRIT
Jamie Lynn recently shared a series of photos to Instagram to incapsulate her 2021 and promote her upcoming memoir, Things I Should Have Said, which she’ll be discussing in the upcoming segment.
She wrote: “Dear 2021 You tried your damnedest… bless your heart. Hoping 2022 brings nothing but healing, love, peace, and happiness to you all- wishing every[one] a safe and Happy New Year.”
Over an image of the book cover, she wrote that she explored “mental health” and “finding peace.”
Jamie Lynn also recently posted a horrifying message she received from an anonymous troll, along with a message about why she couldn’t just “brush off” the comment.
The actress has two young daughters with husband Jamie Watson.
Britney, meanwhile, has also been sharing about life with fiancé Sam Asghari, whom she has been enjoying her time with.
