GREECE has been rocked by a 5.1 magnitude earthquake which struck in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The quake hit in the Gulf of Corinth, in the centre of the country, there have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries, 当局は言った.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) – which revised down an initial reading of 5.7 マグニチュード – said the quake struck 3.1 miles below the surface in the gulf separating mainland Greece from the Peloponnese peninsula.

Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
