SEVERE weather in parts of the country has disrupted flights and created a headache for travelers at the end of the holiday weekend.
From a tornado alert in Mississippi to severe thunderstorms in Florida, the wild Easter Sunday weather is wreaking havoc on travel plans in popular tourist destinations.
Thunderstorms have already dumped 2 inches of rain in the Orlando, 佛罗里达, according to meteorologists at local news station Fox 35.
The severe weather created problems on Sunday for visitors to places like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Seaworld.
According to forecasts, an additional 2 inches of rain could accumulate in Central Florida before the night is over.
The Fox 35 the storm team reported that Sunday night’s thunderstorms have been accompanied by lightning strikes and downpours.
The area could also see wind gusts as high as 50 mph and there were also forecasts for potential hail.
