LOUISE Minchin has opened up about her husband’s cancer battle that saw him diagnosed with a tumour when he was aged 28.
The former BBC Breakfast presenter revealed the horror battle as she took to the panel on Tipping Point: Lucky Stars this week.
Playing alongside comedian Josh Widdicombe and fellow presenter Michelle Acklerley, لويز, 53, battled it out to win £20,000 for charity.
During her stint on the show, she revealed she was raising money for charity move, which hopes people cope with cancer diagnoses.
She revealed how the charity was close to her heart after her husband David was diagnosed with cancer when he was 28 سنة.
The mum-of-two said David would have “benefitted” from the support of charities like Move, and therefore was keen to show her support.

“The charity is called Move and it works with people who are suffering with cancer or affected by cancer to get them moving,” قالت لويز.
“My husband had cancer when he was 28 so he would have very much benefitted from a charity like this.”
Despite her hopes to take home the top jackpot, Louise was the second celebrity to be eliminated with only £2,600 in the kitty.
Louise revealed back in 2016 that her husband David, a restaurateur and investor, had recovered from cancer and is a survivor.

Speaking on ITV about the ordeal, Mia, 19, قالت: “The messages are really offensive, calling us not very nice names and then they got much more graphic.

Louise adds: “It was very clear from the messages that this person had stood outside our front door."
The star previously detailed that she and her husband “felt they were prisoners in her our own home” after being targeted by a creep online.
