A LITTLE lost dog walked five miles home alone through a busy city — even trotting over a giant suspension bridge.
Podenco Pip was captured on CCTV outside a museum, in a park and by his old home.
Locals, who dubbed the well-known therapy pooch “wonder pup”, shared updates of screen grabs in a city-wide hunt for him.
Pip had wandered off from owner Libby Bowles while chasing squirrels in Bristol’s Leigh Woods.
While she spent 90 minutes searching the rescued Spanish hunting hound took to the streets.
First he fearlessly crossed the 300ft high, quarter-mile long Clifton Suspension Bridge over the Avon Gorge.
Later he pased Bristol’s landmark Wills Memorial Building.
He finally arrived home in Bedminster 20 minutes before anxious Libby, 47, who works in education.
Sy het gese: “He’s run off before but he’s always come back.
“So I was quite worried. I ran into some friends who saw him.

“But he zipped away.
“I thought, ‘How on earth is he going to cross Bristol by himself?’
“But thankfully Pip has a good nose.
“He went back to our old flat and past Bristol museum.
“Eventually he was seen in the park near our house so I breathed a sigh of relief.
“He trotted round the corner fairly nonchalantly.”
