PIERS Morgan’s son Spencer has shared the hilarious Father’s Day card he got his famous dad – admitting he’d “smashed it”.

The card referenced the 56-year-old star’s iconic Bonjour la Grande-Bretagne walk-out in March, which came hours before he sensationally quit the breakfast show.

Posing with his arm around his dad, the sports journalist is smiling at the camera while giving a cheeky thumbs up.

Piliers is fighting a smile as he holds up the card, which has artwork of him storming off the GMB set on it.

The text reads: “Joyeuse fête des Pères. Thanks for never walking out on me.”

Piers also has a pile of presents in front of him on the restaurant table as he enjoys an early celebration with his kids.

Spencer captioned his Instagram post: “Little pre Father’s Day meal.

“I’ve completely smashed the card to be fair”

Piliers sensationally stormed out of the ITV studio after clashing with co-star Alex Beresford over comments he’d made about Meghan Markle.

He later quit the show after being told by bosses to apologise on air – and recently admitted to The Sun that the only thing he regretted was walking off.

He explained at the time: “I shouldn’t have walked off, mais, I do regret that.

“You can’t be the great crusader of free speech and then walk off when someone says something you don’t like.”

toutefois, he also revealed that panicked ITV bosses are desperate for him to come back after ratings plummeted following his departure.
