VIEWERS are calling the 2021 Miss America Pageant pageant a literal “dumpster fire” in terms of how it was produced.
People are taking to social media left and right to blast the latest iteration of the beauty contest, blaming anything from lighting and transitions to poor mics and music.
“A live look at the Miss America pageant’s production quality,” 写 one user on Twitter before adding a gif of a dumpster on fire floating through a flooded road.
其他, somehow, had even harsher critiques for the show.
“What is GOING ON with the sound, the transitions, the two former queens, 等等? It’s just flowing so poorly,” 其他人 发推文.
In response to their tweet, someone commented: “Put a fork in it. It’s over. This is embarrassing,” while another commenter said “The hosts seem like they just learned to read. Or they’re too bored to care.”
Many questioned why the pageant wasn’t on network television, but instead, through a streaming service.
“Not tweeting Miss America tonight. Not even on network television and whole broadcast(on Peacock) seems low budget,” cheekily 写 a user. “As a tweeter of pageants, I am very disappointed. Used to be one of my favorite nights of the year. SAD!”
“I see why Miss America ain’t on network or cable tv tonight. The production is a fail,” 开玩笑的 其他.
