CARA Delevingne and Margot Robbie’s British filmmaker pals were seen being bundled into a cop car today after allegedly battering a paparazzo.
Photographer Pedro Alberto Orquera was left with a broken arm after he was allegedly attacked on Saturday by Josey McNamara and Jac Hopkins.
McNamara and Hopkins had just finished a meal with Cara and Margot at the famous celeb haunt Patagonia Sur in Buenos Aires at 3am when Pedro tried to take their picture.
The two filmmakers got into a scuffle with the snapper who ended up on the floor bleeding with a broken arm.
McNamara and Hopkins were arrested and taken to a police station for questioning and held in custody in the La Boca area of the Argentine capital.
With their heads covered by their coats, the two cuffed men were seen being bundled into a cop car by four officers on Monday.
They were due to to give a statement at a prosecutor’s office in the city, 報告によると.
A police report obtained by The Sun states that when officers arrived at the scene Pedro told them that he had fallen to the ground breaking his elbow during a “brief struggle” with the men.
It is not yet known if Cara, 30, and Margot, 32, are still in Argentina or where they have been staying, although local sources are working to find out.
One local source told The Sun: “私の経験では, as witnesses Cara and Margot will have to give evidence before the prosecutor.
“The only way they won’t have to go and give evidence is if they have already left the country.
“The prosecutor has declared that the investigation remain secret and she will want to talk to Cara and Margot as quickly as possible.
“She also ordered for there to be a police guard at the victim’s hospital room so that no one can approach him.”
Pedro has now said he is preparing to file a lawsuit.
In an interview with The Sun from his hospital bed, the photographer described the incident as a “brutal attack” そして “臆病な”.
“They tried to take my camera to delete the pictures that I had taken,” Pedro said.
“I started running away from them because they were hitting me.
“While I was running from them they kicked me hard so my camera went up in the air and I fell on the floor and injured my arm.
“I was bleeding an awful lot. I was losing a lot of blood, in a few minutes the police arrived.”
The Hollywood stars had been entering the car when the incident occurred – and witnesses say Margot nearly fell out of the vehicle as the driver rushed to speed away.
Onlookers called 911 after watching the brawl – and Pedro was rushed to hospital.
A police report shows that McNamara and Hopkins told cops Pedro was “responsible for his own injuries” as the stars had not given their consent for photos to be taken.
McNamara worked with Australian beauty Robbie in the due-to-be released Barbie, along with Hopkins who was part of the crew.
