FOUR Lives, the hard-hitting BBC drama, tells the shocking true story of the murders of four young men by killer Stephen Port.
An acclaimed cast have been assembled to tell the story of the deaths of Anthony Walgate, Gabriel Kovari, Daniel Whitworth, and Jack Taylor.
Stephen Port (Stephen Merchant)
Office co-creator Stephen Merchant has proved a chilling presence on screen as killer Stephen Port.
One viewer tweeted, after seeing his debut performance last night: “Stephen is so creepy, I have to keep looking away.”
Port was jailed in November 2016 for drugging and murdering men he met on gay dating app Grindr before dumping their bodies in a graveyard.
Although his crimes are known as the Grindr Murders, they are also called the Barking Murders after the town where they occurred.
Anthony Walgate (Tim Preston)
The story of fashion student Anthony Walgate kicked off Four Lives in last night’s chilling episode with the lad being played by actor Tim Preston.
He is shown having been dumped outside Port’s flat in Barking – with the killer telling the police he’d come across his body while heading off in his car.
Sarah Sak (Sheridan Smith)
Actress Sheridan Smith’s performance has been hailed as “Perfecto” by Sarah Sak, the bereaved mother of Anthony Walgate.
After being shown the drama before it was aired on BBC she said: “Sheridan has done a brilliant job. I think she is the perfect person to play me.
“I wanted a gobby northern bird and not some posh actress to play me.”
Gabriel Kovari (Jakub Svec)
Newcomer Jakub plays Slovakian Gabriel, who is shown staying with kindly John Pape after moving to London.
sin embargo, things took a terrible turn when he went to sofa-surf with Port in Barking having met him on the internet.
He turns up dead in the second episode of Four Lives.
Daniel Whitworth (Leo Flanagan)
Daniel, Port’s third and youngest victim at just 21, appeared in the drama’s shocking second episode.
El actor, who played Floyd Westbrook in Waterloo Road, played the chef on tonight’s horrifying installment.
The longtime partner of Ricky Waumsley, Daniel met Port in Barking in September 2014.
Jack Taylor (Paddy Rowan)
Paddy Rowan, who played Stephen Merchant’s character’s son David McNally in another BBC drama, Hora, is Port’s fourth victim Jack Taylor.

Jaime Winstone met up with Donna Taylor before playing her in the drama and the pair formed a bond.
ella le dijo a la Sunday People: “I met up with Jaime on a few occasions with my sister Jen and the actress Stephanie Hyam who plays her.
