A MAN stabbed to death near St Paul’s Cathedral has been named as cops continue their murder investigation.

Emmanuel Odunlami, 32, だった found with a serious knife injury in Gresham Street, ロンドン中心部, at about 11.30pm on Sunday.

Officers carried out CPR at the scene before Emmanuel, from Romford, イーストロンドン, was rushed to the Royal London Hospital, where he tragically later died.

His next of kin are aware and being supported by specialist officers.

One person was arrested on suspicion of murder and has since been bailed.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are continuing to appeal for any information.

Commander Umer Khan, from the City of London Police, 前記: “Our thoughts and condolences are with Emmanuel’s friends and family at this difficult time.

“We are continuing to appeal for any information, no matter how small it may seem, to help with our enquiries. Even the smallest piece of information may be significant to our investigation.

“A number of people were in the area at the time of this tragic incident and officers would like anyone with further information to come forward. This can be done anonymously and in confidence.”

The force has not had a murder under its watch 2019, when two people were killed in the London Bridge terror attack.

And there was one murder the year before.

It comes after a man in his 30s was knifed to death in Greenwich, イーストロンドン, in the early hours of Sunday.
