PLENTY of pop stars have made a name for themselves in the beauty business.
And now Jesy Nelson could be following in their footsteps.
Insiders revealed how pals close to the ex-Little Mix singer had urged her to bring out her own range.
A source said: “Jesy is totally focused on her music at the moment but when that project is finalised people have bandied around the idea of her dipping her toe into the cosmetics market.
“She and her pals have seen the success of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Iman’s cosmetics line and some of those close to her think she could do well by emulating that.
“Jesy’s new music is all about feeling cool and confident, and in the future she could diversify her brand in a way that lets her do that with hair and make-up.
“It is not something in the pipeline currently but Jesy is known for her love of glamorous make-up and there is a market there for her if she chooses to go down that route.”
Last week Jesy, who got to No4 in the charts with her debut song Boyz, teased her fans about her upcoming album, which will be her first since she left Little Mix in December 2020.
She parted company with her record label Polydor last month after disputes over the direction her music was going in.

She said on Instagram: “Just sat here listening to my album in the car and I’ve cried my eyes out. I’ve never felt more proud, I cannot wait to share it with you guys.
“There’s things I’ve written on there that I’ve never, ever spoken about. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this and I just hope you love it as much as I do.”
After Jesy walked away from Polydor I reported how the singer was being courted by a number of other labels keen to get her on board.
I’m glad to hear she’s focusing on her music before thinking about moving on to side projects.
I, more than anyone, want Jesy to succeed and I am sure she has it in her.
Kylie has bin shopping
WITH a billion pounds in the bank you would think Kylie Jenner would have splashed the cash on a more stylish outfit?
The US reality star turned make-up mogul wore this grey frock which resembled a crumpled bin bag on a night out in Malibu with her rapper boyfriend Travis Scott.
Kylie teamed the trashy look with a £300 pair of trainers, mind, so it’s not as if she totally scrimped on her clobber.
The youngest of the Kardashian clan is usually famed for her sartorial choices but her fashion sense went out the window this time.
Kylie and Travis landed back in the US over the weekend after she spent a few days in the capital where he had played two nights in London’s O2 earlier this month.
Got it nailed
WHEN it comes to the red carpet, actress Cynthia Erivo has got it nailed.
The Strictly judge flashed her startling acrylics at the premiere of Amazon series The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power in LA.
Sophia Nomvete was among the cast members who attended.
Cynthia will also star alongside Idris Elba in the new Luther film.
I have no idea how she gets anything done.
Fred not too sexy for P.O.
OVER the past few years some of the biggest names in music have been lining up to sample Right Said Fred’s classic 1991 hit I’m Too Sexy.
But it’s good to see that the duo – brothers Fred and Richard Fairbrass – haven’t let it go to their heads.
The kooky pair were spotted hosting a pop-up gig on the pavement outside a post office in Durham.
But rather than trying their hands at busking, the lads were there to promote their new book, Still Too Sexy.
Beyonce became the latest star to use their hit, on her new Renaissance album track Alien Superstar last month
On Monday The Sun told how Richard reckoned the song had earned the brothers more than £10million.
Which, sexy or otherwise, is enough to keep them in pretty snazzy shirts over the years.
Smashing time Kel
MACHINE GUN KELLY is trying so hard to be a hellraiser it’s embarrassing.
After a show in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, ran over he told the crowd there would be a $70,000 fine for every ten minutes extra.
Glugging wine, he boasted: “We ain’t stopping this concert for s**t. I’m rich bitch!” before smashing the glass on his face.
You might have a few bob, mate, but you’re also very stupid.
Dua look like I’m having fun?
The pop star, whose parents moved to London just before she was born, is on a break after playing the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina, Kosovo, shared snaps of herself on Instagram yesterday.
Dua captioned the photos: “Albanian girl in Albania.”
She is due to kick off the South American leg of her Future Nostalgia tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on September 8 and has locked in some downtime before heading back out on the road.
After playing countless dates across the US and Europe, I’m not surprised she needs a sit down.
Aitch: I’d pose like Cal
And now the Manchester born rapper is planning on following the Scottish superstar DJ’s footsteps into the world of modelling.
Just like Calvin, who had a glow up average blokes like me can only dream of and posed in his underwear for Armani – Aitch wants to get into shape then get his kit off.
He said: “I am trying to be on the front covers in my Calvin Kleins too or one of their adverts. I would retire after that.
“I had a bet with my dad that I won’t do it because I won’t go to the gym. But I will, I know I will.
“I am going to drop my album -Close to Home. And after that you won’t see me for a little bit.
“The album has good enough songs on it to hold me for a little bit.
“Then the next minute, you’ll be on my Instagram and there will be no posts on there. And you will be like, ‘What’s going on?’ and it’ll be, ‘Boom – Calvin Klein.’”
Aitch, who has teamed up with Ed Sheeran for new track My G, also said he’s got his sights set on Hollywood.
He added on the Straight Up podcast: “I passed three subjects at school, English, drama and sport. But sport went out of the window.
“I would do anything. I would genuinely do anything. I would love to be in Top Boy but I am talking like Hollywood.”
KSI and Sam Ryder will be among those celebrating National Album Day on October 15.
The theme of the annual event, in its fifth year, will focus on debut records.
KSI said: “An album is essentially you living in the mind of an artist.
“Albums at different stages in our lives can be so pivotal and help inspire different ways of thinking or feeling. It’s why I feel it is so important in our lives. Listening to certain albums is like looking back at the history of how I was feeling at that moment in.
“And the nostalgia is truly amazing.”
Becks in hair raid warning
David unveiled his style in 2000 but Fran has insisted the style was originally his, and that David stole it after a chance run-in while he was out shopping with his wife Nora.
Fran told the XS Noize podcast: “I had that haircut and me and Nora met him.
“We went to Toys “R” Us for something in Wembley and we were walking through the car park and I had my Mohawk, and walking towards us with a giant trolley full of toys was Posh and Becks.
“We chatted for five minutes. I had never met them before.
“Then two weeks later he had the cut and made it famous.”
RYLAN CLARK and his mum Linda are turning into a proper double act.
He teamed up with her on Celebrity Gogglebox and she pops up during his Radio 2 show.
Now Rylan Clark is bringing Linda on board for his next advertising gig.
The former X Factor contestant became the face of the car deal company Cinch in 2020 and a source said: “After seeing his chemistry with Linda and realising how funny she is, Cinch got her on board.
“Rylan and Linda are fast becoming TV’s most unlikely act. The public love it.
“Rylan and Linda are gearing up for filming in the next few weeks.
“The advert storyboard is absolutely hilarious.
“Fans of Rylan and his mum are in for a treat.”
I can’t wait to see this.
