A BRIT dad who ran off with a Ukrainian refugee has been reunited with his family after a judge removed a restraining order put in place by his ex.
Security guard Tony Garnett, 29, walked out on Lorna, 28, after falling head over heels for 22-year-old Sofiia Karkadym.
But the dad-of-two last week revealed he has thrown his now ex-girlfriend out of the home they had set up together after a series of rows.
He had been ordered not to contact ex Lorna — mum to their two daughters — after she took him to court over allegations he sent her abusive texts.
But now Tony has been reunited with his family after a judge dropped the ban.
Today he told オンラインでメール: “I am chuffed beyond words. It’s so amazing to be back with my kids. They come before anything.”
Bradford Crown Court heard that he had split with Sofia and that she had returned to Ukraine.
Lorna said outside court: “He is actually a wonderful father who loves his daughters to bits. I know he has missed them a lot.
“When I rationalised, I realise that I was being unnecessarily paranoid. He would never do that, but it’s been difficult to communicate with him when she was on the scene.”
The Sun originally broke the story that Tony fell for Sofiia after offering her a place to stay when she left her homeland.
She flew there from ポーランド.
Two weeks later, Lorna grew suspicious and ordered Sofiia to leave.
トニー packed his bags and went with her.
ローナが追加されました: “Until today, we hadn’t really talked properly or heard each other’s views for months.
“I’m really happy that she has gone.
“Tony and I are not getting back together and I’m now seeing somebody else. He’s fine with that but we’re gonna put our children first.”
He added he ended up calling the 警察 who attended the address.
彼は言った: “Getting involved with Sofiia was a huge mistake. I’ve explained all the reasons before and I’m glad it’s all behind me now.”
