The 44-year-old revealed in January he’d quit his role as Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter.
Yesterday actor Danny joined a host of his co-stars for dinner, with Rose Ayling-Ellis – who plays his on-screen daughter Frankie Lewis – sharing a sweet snap on Instagram.

He will be joined by co-host, comedian Ellie Taylor, for the quiz programme which is due to launch next year.
Danny said of his exciting new role: “Expect enormous wins, loads of slippery people cheating and banter.”
Since opting not to renew his contract with EastEnders, Danny has also signed up to present a travel show with daughter Dani.
The travel programme – set to air on E4 – will see him and his former Love Island star eldest child tour the globe together.
A TV insider said: “Nobody would have predicted this would have been his first move, even though he did say at the time he was keen to ‘try some other stuff’.”
