FRED Savage has been FIRED from the Wonder Years reboot over “inappropriate conduct.”
Fans and peers have slammed the actor-turned-director for “years of bad behavior” ahead of the decision.
“The allegations were investigated, leading to Savage’s dismissal,” they reported, with a Season 2 of the reboot not yet renewed following the investigation.
The statement from parent company Disney read: “Récemment, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation was launched.
Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of The Wonder Years.”

As Deadline added, the allegations were said to involve: “verbal outbursts and inappropriate behavior” though the specifics of his firing or investigation are not confirmed.
Deadline reached out for comment with no reply back.
Fred gained TV stardom as Kevin Arnold in the ‘60s and ‘70s-set show when it originally ran.
The Wonder Years ran for six seasons from 1988-1993.
Fred also more recently starred alongside Rob Lowe in the axed Fox series The Grinder, and has since turned to directing.
He’s directed many Nickelodeon and Disney Channel shows, like That’s So Raven, Unfabulous, Phil of the Future, Hannah Montana, and Wizards of Waverly Place.
Fred, 45, also directed episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the cult comedy show Party Down, The Conners, Black-ish, the reboot of The Wonder Years, et plus.
