SHOPPERS have thought up an ingenious way to keep their homes warm – and it won’t cost you too much either.
One savvy shopper took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group to share how she’d bought one for only £7 from The Range.
She also bought a tension rod to hold it up for £5.99 from Lidl – meaning the entire shop cost her just under £13, keeping her home warmer and slashing her energy usage.
O comprador disse: “I wish to thank a person that had posted their thermal curtain that they got from The Range.
“I didn’t get the same as them but I am happy with what I got.
“The curtain only cost me £7 from the Range (it’s thermal) and the tension rod £5.99 from Lidl. Here’s to a warmer winter.”
The original post has prompted other shoppers to share how they’ve done the same, keeping their homes toasty while slashing contas.
Um disse: “I have had one since last year.
“I hate the look of a curtain there but it makes a huge difference.”

Outro usuário disse: “Have had a curtain up at my door.
“Makes a huge difference to retaining heat but we also face a dark field and I always feel better that no one can see in on an evening.”
Um terceiro adicionado: “Had curtains up at (a) front door for years.
“It helps keep warmth in and cold out. And also a sausage draught excluder at the bottom of the door.”
It comes as energy bills have risen for millions after the government brought in its energy price guarantee.
The new price cap will see the average household’s energy bills go up from £1,971 previously to £2,500.
Claro, that’s not a limit on what households will pay as the price guarantee just limits what suppliers can charge customers per unit of energy.
You could end up paying more than £2,500 a year if you use up a lot of energy.
Tristemente, we couldn’t find the £7 thermal curtain in stock on The Range’s website.
Contudo, you might be able to find one in your nearest store. If you don’t know where yours is, you can find it aqui.
The cheapest thermal curtain we found was on sale for £14.99, and the next cheapest was going for £29.99.
We couldn’t find the tension rod online, but it might be worth going to your nearest Lidl store to see if it has one.

Claro, it’s always worth shopping around for the best promoções.
Just because something is on sale somewhere, that doesn’t mean you can’t find it cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk for example are useful for comparing prices across supermarkets.
We looked online to see if you could get a thermal curtain or tension rod for cheaper than £7 and £5.99 respectively.
Contudo, the least expensive ones we could find were on Amazon UK for £10.19 and Ideal Textiles for £10.46.
The cheapest tension rods we found were going for £2.39 on Amazon UK and £1.99 from The Range, so you could save yourself some money heading instead of Lidl.
Eu obviamente pensei sobre isso, mas eu tinha um trabalho a fazer.”
