A TEENAGER has been charged with attempted murder after a schoolboy was brutally stabbed on a packed tube train.
The 16-year-old was repeatedly attacked on a Victoria Line train in south London on Wednesday in front of terrified commuters.
Cops were called to the scene after 3pm following reports of a stabbing to find the teen with serious injuries.
Amarjay Camron Nkemayang, 18, was charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place on Friday morning.
It is believed the teen had a hunting knife during the incident at Stockwell station, the Evening Standard reports.
The 18-year-old from Stockwell has been held in police custody and was due to appear at Westminster magistrates court today.
British Transport Police said an 18-year-old was treated for minor injuries and then discharged into police custody.
Meanwhile, the 16-year-old was taken to the hospital with two puncture wounds.
Detective inspector Paul Attwell said: “This was a particularly violent incident on a busy Tube service that has resulted in a man sustaining serious injuries.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who was on-board the Tube at the time or at Stockwell Underground station as they may have information that could greatly assist our investigation.”
