TONIGHT’S Britain’s Got Talent featured an incredible Welsh choir who stunned the judges.
The Welsh of the West End is a choir consisting of ten professional performers who currently perform – or have previously performed – in London’s West End.
Starting off in lockdown, merely as a form of entertainment whilst their industry came screeching to a halt, the choir’s online presence exploded.
They’ve since travelled around the world performing together at incredible venues and have become a tight knit group.
The choir has some incredible names involved such as Sophie Evans, who plays Glinda in Wicked, but one of its members has some impressive celebrity connections.
Choir member Jade Davies is an incredible singer and performer in her own right, having performed in Sister Act, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Phantom of the Opera.
She is also the sister of Love Island winner-turned-West End leading lady Amber Davies, and the pair are incredibly close.
Jade is also in a long-term relationship with Bridgerton star, Luke Newton, who plays Colin Bridgerton.
The pair have been dating since early 2019, and Jade is one proud girlfriend.
Following the premiere of Bridgerton’s season two, she shared a selfie on her Instagram account.
The singer captioned it: “Bit of a soppy one but from doing the self tape together, to the day Luke called me whilst I was in Estonia early 2019 to tell me he got the part!! ( I cried obvs ) to the release of season 1 and now to this day right here!
“What an incredible journey lukey. It makes me so emotional! You work so so hard and it’s all paying off!”

The Welsh of the West End performed an incredible rendition of From Now On from The Greatest Showman for the judges on Saturday night.
They even slotted in some of the Welsh language into their performance, a nod to their first language.
The members of the choir include founder and director Steffan Rhys Hughes, Sophie Evans, Jade Davies, Glain Rhys, Siwan Henderson, Mared Williams, Luke McCall, Tom Hier, Samantha Thomas and Rhidian Marc.
