EMERGENCY crews are at the scene of a fire in northeast Albuquerque, which broke out Tuesday night.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue and Bernalillo County Fire responded to the scene of a commercial fire near Earth Day Recycling.

Propane tanks have exploded due to the fire, according to Bernco Fire Department.

A few homes have been evacuated, said officials.

Roads have been closed by authorities and people are urged to avoid the area.
