WHILE his finances are clearly on the decline, Stephen Reid is willing to resort to any means to get some spare cash.
Next week in Coronation Street, the businessman finds a new target in the form of Rovers landlady Jenny Connor.
However, he soon turned his sights to Speed Daal co-owner Yasmeen Metcalfe.
Unfortunately for him, Yasmeen only has eyes for Stu Carpenter, prompting Stephen to be on the lookout for another rich woman to take advantage of.
Unlike many residents in the Street, viewers know Stephen is having money issues and is even willing to go as far as to steal from his mother to avoid bankruptcy.
Coming up, Stephen turns all of his attention on to Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) without a care in the world for her relationship with Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost).
It all begins in the pub when Sarah and Stephen pour over their business plan.
When he finds out from his niece that Jenny is the sole owner of the Rovers, Stephen knows she must be at ease financially and his interest is immediately piqued.
He turns on the charm and flirts with a tipsy Jenny who ends up inviting him through the back and handing him a drink.
