DEAR DEIDRE: I worry for teenage son who’s struggling to live with long Covid.
I’m his 51-year-old mum. Ele é 14. It’s a year since he contracted coronavirus and he still has chronic fatigue and chest pain.

Before he got ill he was an avid rugby player. But that’s been taken away from him.
He can’t even go up the stairs without getting breathless now. He looks so glum.

He’s meant to start his GCSEs next year. I fear this will mess up his future.
