Dr Lin Lu, from Peking University Hospital, reviewed 38 studies of two million people to find out who was most likely to get 認知症.
He found exercising brought a 17 per cent lower risk, and social activities like volunteering cut it by seven per cent.
Dr Lu admitted the effect of watching テレビ needs more investigation. Past studies found too much can be a risk.

Dr Lu added: “Previous studies have shown that leisure activities are associated with various health benefits, such as a lower 癌 risk.
