MARIA is left fearful on the Coronation Street cobbles next week when some chilling messages spark up fears from the past.
Having dealt with trolling and online abuse in the past, Maria Connor, 由...演奏 Samia Longchambon, grows increasingly concerned when she finds herself in the same situation.
As Maria continues in her quest to becoming more community minded, her latest stint of activism does not go down too well with somebody online.
The hairdresser helps out with a campaign that sees refugees rehomed including Max Turner’s (Paddy Bever) new school friend Daryan.
Quickly however a number of disparaging comments are left on the online post sparking fresh death threat fears for Maria.
Maria confides in David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) and Shona (Julia Goulding) about the vile messages.
The unsettled mum also admits to David and Shona that the chilling message gives away her place of work prompting fresh fears about who is behind the posts.
David becomes suspicious that Max could be linked to the bhevaiour when the wayward school student refuses to let David use his laptop when he asks if he can borrow it.
As Maria reveals her home address has not been posted, David informs Shona of his concerns and admits that he thinks Max is somehow responsible for the posts as his form of revenge for his new friend Daryan taking up the last place at Weatherfield High, resulting in Max having no school.
Shona expresses her worry when David plans to confront Max over the situation.
Max denies having anything to do with the threatening comments.
然而, a flapping David does not stop there and suddenly the police are involved leading to Max and David’s relationship becoming strained.
The warring father-and-son continue to row as Max berates David for having no faith in him but soon there is a call from the police who say they are on their way to No. 8 to speak with them all further.
What have the police discovered on Max’s laptop?
And is he behind Maria’s nasty trolling comments?
