EASTENDERS legend Jake Wood has revealed his new hardman role after quiting the BBC soap.
O ator, 50, played Max Branning in the hit show between 2006 e 2020.
Em setembro 2020, foi confirmado que the TV favourite was leaving EastEnders after 15 anos on the Square, with his final scenes airing in February 2021.
Since then Jake has been focusing on his art work and Pound for Pound podcast.
Nearly two years on after his EastEnders saída, Jake has revealed he’ll be returning to our screens in the near future as part of the cast of Hook.
Sharing the trailer to his Instagram, ele disse: “So excited to be involved in my latest project HOOKED, written & created by the incredible @sallywood1 What do you think so far? ❤️❤️.”
In one scene Jake is with Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick, who appears to play a character called Alex.
It seems that Jake’s character is a drug dealer as he places a bag of suspicious white substance on the table for him.
Later on he can be seen squaring up to Alex asking for money.

Earlier this month Jake tipped that there could be a potential return for Max Branning on the cards.
Speaking in Worcester, as he swapped acting for opening a local bingo hall, Jake disse: “no momento não tenho planos, but you never say never.
“They’ve kept the door open for me – apparently I’ve got a little baby I’ve not seen yet. You never know.”
