Will Young breaks silence to pay tribute to Darius Campbell Danesh

POP Idol star Will Young has broken his silence on the tragic death of singer Darius Campbell Danesh last week.

The Leave Right Now singerwho rose to fame alongside Darius im 2001 on the ITV showpaid tribute to his fellow finalist.

Wille, 43, took to his social media to share a throwback snap of the pair hugging each otherpenning an emotional caption.

I found this picture a while ago taken during Pop Idol.

If there was ever an example of not giving up on your dreams then Darius is top of the pile. Driven, courageous and gentle.

Will concluded his post: “My love goes to his family at this time.

Darius was tragically tot gefunden in his US apartment August 11, with cops ruling out any suspicious circumstances.

A statement released by his family read: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darius Campbell Danesh.

Darius was found unresponsive in bed in his apartment room in Rochester, Minnesota, Im August 11 and was pronounced dead in the afternoon by the local medical examiners’ Büro.

The local police department have confirmed that there were no signs of intent or suspicious circumstances.

The cause of his sudden death is unknown at this stage while medical examinations continue.
