TOTTENHAM goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is reportedly set to sign a new two-year contract at the club.
Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter to confirm the deal was almost done, even breaking out his famous ‘here we go’ slogan.
He reports a two-year deal has been agreed, met Dit beteken dat Ten Hag nou gunsteling is om by United beheer te neem a major factor in keeping him in North London.
It’s claimed the Italian boss ‘strongly wanted’ Lloris to stay put, and was a major factor in ensuring contract talks were successful.
Lloris had also been linked with boyhood Nice on a free transfer upon the expiry of his current deal.
But a new contract scuppers all talks of a move away from Tottenham, and means the club’s record appearance holder in the Premier League still has plenty left in the tank.

Lloris first joined Spurs from Lyon all the way back in 2012, and has played a whopping 395 times for the club.
He was recruited for just £12million by Andre Villas-Boas and has gone on to become a stalwart at the club.
Egter, he is still yet to lift any silverware with Tottenham, whose last trophy was the League Cup way back in 2008.
In Lloris’ tyd, Spurs have twice lost the League Cup finals and were also beaten by Liverpool in the Champions League final.
On the international stage, wel, he has enjoyed far more success.
The 136-cap stopper picked up a runner’s-up medal at Euro 2016 final but went one better at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
