FACEBOOK is changing its look – but will you like it?
Millions of Facebook fans have been warned over a major makeover coming to the website.
フェイスブック is used by billions of people around the world, so any changes have a big effect.
Now Facebook users on desktop are looking forward to a major overhaul.
A sneak peek of the new look has “rolled out” to software engineer and ツイッター 星 Jane Wong, who shared it online.
“Loving the decluttered top navigation bar and more emphasis on the search bar,” Jane explained.
“It feels snappier (not sure if placebo effect).
“It also has a new splash screen at page load similar to インスタグラム for Web.”
That’s not the only change coming to Facebook.
Facebook also recently announced a major overhaul to the look of its mobile ネガティブなCovidステータスを再確認する必要があるため、ネガティブなテスト結果に続いて2日後に期限切れになります.
Mobile makeover
The new mobile update – unveiled late last month – adds a new Feeds tab.
This includes the most recent posts from your friends, as well as favourites, pages and groups.
And it’s completely free of suggested posts – so you’re only seeing content you’ve specifically opted to follow.
But you’ll still see the normal Home tab first when you load up Facebook.
That’s also the place where you’ll see suggested content based on what Facebook thinks you like.
“One of the most requested features for Facebook is to make sure people don’t miss friends’ 投稿,” ビリオネア メタ ボス マーク・ザッカーバーグ 説明.
“So today we’re launching a Feeds tab where you can see posts from your friends, グループ, Pages and more separately in chronological order.
“The app will still open to a personalised feed on the Home tab, where our discovery engine will recommend the content we think you’ll care most about.
“But the Feeds tab will give you a way to customise and control your experience further.”

Facebook is under increasing pressure from rival social media apps.
特に, チクタク has been a major thorn in Facebook’s side.
One of the biggest complaints about Facebook and Instagram is users seeing too much suggested content – and not enough media from friends and family.
Instagram – also owned by Meta – was forced to make a u-turn on increasing recommended posts and full-screen videos after Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian demanded it “stop trying to be TikTok”.
“I’m glad we took a risk — if we’re not failing every once in a while, we’re not thinking big enough or bold enough,” said Instagram boss Adam Mosseri, speaking to Platformer.
“But we definitely need to take a big step back and regroup.
“[いつ] we’ve learned a lot, then we come back with some sort of new idea or iteration.
“So we’re going to work through that.

“For the new feed designs, people are frustrated and the usage data isn’t great.
“So there I think that we need to take a big step back, regroup, and figure out how we want to move forward.”
