TIPPING Point viewers were in uproar over the choice of questions asked during a recent episode of the ITV quiz show.
Four new players tried their luck against the notoriously tough machine during Thursday evening’s episode – but fans of the show were left fuming by the end of it.
Liz, Eddie, Leah and Danny were the latest contenders pitted together on questions of general knowledge, where they win counters for correct answers.
Viewers have previously slammed the show for being “too easy”, but the latest episode left them convinced that the show had increased the difficulty of its questions pool.
Among the hard questions, host Ben Shepherd asked: “What name is given to the number of protons found in the nucleus of a particular chemical element?”
Fans of the show were quick to comment on it, trop, with Twitter soon becoming a switchboard for complaints about the hard questions.

A second fan wrote: “Blimey! Where are they getting some of these questions from?”
A third fumed: “The other day they had a question about transition metals, today it’s Philip Larkin.
“Just occasionally, Tipping Point forgets that it’s not University Challenge.”
Plus tôt cette année, pourtant, the fan favourite show was blasted by viewers as contestants breezed through with the “easiest questions on any game show”.
Fans were quick to point out an incredibly easy question about the alphabet.
