FRIENDS star James Michael Tyler attended the reunion virtually because he didn’t want his cancer battle to be a “downer”.
The 59-year-old actor – who played Gunther on the beloved sitcom – has stage four cancer and is paralyzed from the waist down.
James initially wanted to attend the HBO Max special in person but has been left paralyzed from the waist down due to his cancer battle.
