LOVE Island contestants might not be guaranteed long-lasting romance from their time on the show – but this year’s crop will be walking away with impressive tans.

This Islanders have already been lapping up the sun in Majorca for three weeks and many have seen their skin dramatically change colour. Here are the best tan transformations of 2022…

PAIGE THORNE

Hailing from Wales, seeing so much sunshine has been a real treat for Paige Thorne.

The 24-year-old paramedic entered the villa in a bright pink bikini with a risk that her skin could end up matching.

But three weeks on and Paige is sporting some seriously darker skin and significant tan lines.

Commenting about her new look on Twitter, one fan quipped: “Paige is NOT just Welsh, that is one crazy tan she has and the Welsh in general just don’t go that colour!!”

LUCA BISH

Luca Bish’s physique was already turning heads when he arrived in the villa thanks to his array of tattoos, comprenant un tribute etching to his sister across his stomach.

But the fishmonger, 23, has now stepped things up a gear thanks to his new golden glow.

Luca hasn’t overdone it like some of his fellow Islanders but whether or not he leaves the villa with Gemma Owen on his arm, it will be a bronzed arm.

TASHA GHOURI

Tasha Ghouri was a typical English rose when she made her entrance in the Île de l'amour villa.

Being the only blonde, her fair hair and pale skin ensured she stood out among the other girls.

But while getting close to love interest Andrew Le Page and more recently Jacques O’Neill, Tasha has also been busy topping up her tan.

DAVIDE SANCLIMENTI

Arguably, Italian stallion Davide Sanclimenti did not need the Spanish sun to top up his tan.

The business owner, 27, was already brown enough when he entered the villa…but that hasn’t stopped him from upping the ante.

Davide now has a tan to rival Dickinson’s Real Deal star David Dickinson after lying in the sun ALL DAY. And it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

INDIYAH POLACK

Indiyah Polack didn’t have the greatest start to her Love Island story after being coupled up with Ikenna Ekwonna.

Another viewer added: “Indiyah skin is so dark n nice, I love seeing people’s tans progress in the villa.”

JACQUES O’NEILL

Même si Jacques O’Neill appeared pretty sun-kissed when he arrived in the villa as a latecomer, he has really upped his game.

During a recent chat in the Beach Hut, the 23-year-old rugby pro’s face was noticeably darker.

But Jacques had better continue slapping on that suncream, as there is definitely red tinge there.

Paige will be delighted though, as when asked what she looks for in a man, she admitted it was someone with a tan…

GEMMA OWEN

The daughter of retired England striker Michael Owen, Gemma Owen arrived in the villa with a tan thanks to her jet-setting lifestyle.

toutefois, after walking around in the Spanish sunshine in just a bikini for three weeks, the 19-year-old professional dressage rider has gone an even deeper shade of brown.

Love Island fans have issued [object Window] a warning, mais. And it involves her love interest Luca Bish.

“Gemma is going to end up leaving with an arm shaped tan line where Luca has been clamped onto her,” one viewer mused online.

DAMI HOPE

Dami Hope is sending fans at home wild with his skin-kissed skin.

The 26-year-old senior microbiologist has gone dramatically darker during his time in Majorca and viewers just can’t get enough.

If things don’t work out with Indiyah, there is a queue of ladies lining up behind her.
