A WOMAN has revealed how she cans all of her food to make it stretch for years – mais tout le monde n'est pas convaincu.
Pam Parish, QUE ce soit un hommage touchant à un être cher ou une citation significative par laquelle vous vivez, regularly shares videos on her TikTok account of the meals she creates with her homemade canned goods.
She reveals how she cans practically anything – from chicken and beef to vegetables.
Dans one video she reveals how she makes an entire dinner from canned goods, using Salisbury steak she canned back in 2020 with side dishes of canned potato and green beans.
Pam revealed that she grows a lot of her own food and cans it to help preserve the food to last longer and save money.
Her husband also hunts – so the couple preserves a lot of the meat he catches to also last longer.

She pops the seal of the can – which she says is the most satisfying part for a self-confessed canning lover.
She then whacks it into a frying pan and said: “Some of that white stuff is fat, but some of it is cream of tartar that I’ll use as a thickener in the gravy.”
The steak is pre-cooked before it is canned so she just has to heat them through.
Dans another video, she did the same with chicken thighs, that have been canned for over two years.
