The hotel is best used as a place to flop – it’s simple but affordable for its central location.
Everything is clean and modern, including the contact-free, self-service check-in via tablet, which meant I was able to retrieve my room key with just my name.

Each has a hairdryer, towels and toiletries as well as a large widescreen TV and reading lights.
The highlight is the recliner-style beds you can put upright or fully flat using a remote, which I had way too much fun playing around with.
The ensuite bathrooms include rainfall showers and a separate toilet, while some of the suites have great views of the city including St Paul’s Cathedral and The Shard.
