Team GB snatch incredible GOLD in mixed medley relay with world record time

TEAM GB stormed to an incredible gold in the swimming 4x100m mixed medley relay with a WORLD-RECORD time.

The British quartet of Kathleen Dawson, Adam Peaty, James Guy and Anna Hopkin stormed to victory for Team GB’s eighth gold of the Olympics.

The Brits beat China and Australia to the top spot with a time of 3:37.58.

One of the early favourites, the USA, ended up down in fifth.
