A TEENAGER has been stabbed to death in a busy town centre.
El hombre, 19, went to a nearby bar where he sought help from its first aid trained staff.
Emergency services then rushed him to hospital after yesterday’s attack in Bury, Gran Manchester, where he died.
A large police cordon is expected to remain in the town centre until Saturday.
Detective Superintendent Lewis Hughes, of GMP’s Bury district, dicho: “primeramente, I would like to send our condolences to the victim’s family. Specialist officers have been deployed to support them in both the short and long terms.
“An investigation is underway and officers are currently following lines of enquiry which will hopefully lead us to those responsible, so we can arrest them and bring them to justice.
“This incident happened in Bury town centre so we know there may be witnesses and members of the public who may have mobile phone footage.
“If you were in Bury town centre at this time and saw any disturbance in or around the Millgate Shopping Centre then we ask that you contact Greater Manchester Police.
“You can also pass information anonymously via Crimestoppers.

“It is without doubt that this news will have an impact on the community.
“I would like to offer some reassurance that detectives are leaving no stone unturned and there will be an increased uniform presence in Bury town centre and where appropriate powers of stop search will be utilised.”
Sky Bar wrote online: “After the attack the victim has sought help at the nearest place possible, which thankfully was us as all Sky Bar staff and management were luckily all first aid trained and able to assist the young man until emergency services arrived.”
