It was also evening and not all the street lights were working.

Mya’s mum, Dawn Hopkins, called for better road safety measures outside court today, but also smiled remembering her daughter.
She told Kent Online: “She was very friendly towards people, she wanted to help people out.
“I miss her loads. Her dad misses her. Her sister definitely does – she’s only six and it was five days after her sister’s birthday it happened, the first day of half term.
“So October’s a bit of an up-and-down month now but we’ve got to make of it what it is. Christmas was hard.”
Dawn also mentioned that the existing underpass at the roundabout doesn’t serve all the children who live in her area.
彼女は言いました: “It’s really vital. They need to do something. It’s not safe.
“As for the lighting it’s not that good anyway. They need some sort of crossing so it’s easier to get to McDonald’s or towards that way.
“It needs to be something for the elderly as well so they don’t have to use the underpass.”
One of Mya’s schoolfriends told The Sun last year: “She was an absolutely kind-hearted, beautiful young teen she always made sure that everyone else was okay before herself.
“Not only that she was just a lovely young lady in person, she will be missed by many.”
