A MASSIVE 20-foot great white shark was spotted off the Florida coast by two terrified fishermen, who filmed the beast lurking dangerously close by.
Don Gates and Angie Gonder were busy tagging local fish for research purposes when they spotted the monstrous predator swimming nearby.
But on Monday their usual grab and tag were shaken up when they saw the enormous shark.
Gonder told CBS: “Oh meu Deus!, Oh meu Deus! There is a Great white coming at the boat.
“I thought to myself forget about the fishing I got to get my camera.”
Her shipmate Don Gates said the shark was floating around the boat for about 45 minutos.
The shark was about 20 feet long and big in diameter.
“I think it was total awe to see something so peaceful,” said Don Gates the other researcher on the ship.
“To see something so peaceful and so quiet gliding through the water was great and what made it special is that no one else saw it.”

Great whites are at the top of their food chains and chomp up their prey into bite-size pieces that are swallowed whole.
According to one article by Geografia nacional, they can swim up to 15 miles per hour and weigh up to more than two tons.
The movie “mandíbulas” directed by Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg is inspired by these fierce predators.
They are a vulnerable species and are usually found in cold waters.
