Eleven talented hairstylists will compete in a series of extravagant and jaw-dropping hair challenges to become the next “superstar hairstylist”.
Who are the contestants on The Big Blow Out?
Claire is a 33-year-old who was born in North London but is now living in South London.
She started training when she was 21 and is now working as a Master Stylist at a salon in Clapham South.
She is very creative and relishes new challenges.
Darren is 30 years old and co-owns his own salon in Leicester.
He originally trained to be an electrician but decided to change course and start a hairdressing apprentice at aged 21.
He loves what he is doing now but would love to open another salon to build his empire.
Vicki is 32 years old and from Cornwall.
She is a colour expert who has been in the industry for 16 years and loves beachy, instagrammable hair.
She describes her hairdressing style as messy and lived in.
Dylan is a 26-year-old hard-working, award-winning stylist living in London.
In 2017, he was the youngest person to win The Clothes Show Young Hairdresser of the Year Award in association with Hairdressers Journal.
Abigail is 31 years old and grew up in a town outside of Cardiff called Llanharry in Ponteclun with her parents and brother.
She has been in the industry for 15 years and felt like hair was her calling from a young age.
She works as a senior bridal stylist and is now very busy again after Covid.
Brooke is a 28-year-old award-winning salon owner from Shropshire.
She is passionate about sustainability and making environmental change cool in the industry.
She has won Creative Head Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year and her salon won Best Local Salon at the Salon Business Awards as well as making the final list for Best Green Salon.
Emma is a 28-year-old super braider from London.
She is versatile and able to work well with all types of hair textures.
She has worked on shoots for Vogue Italia and Tommy Hilfiger and worked with and assisted Syd Hayes.
Irishman living in London, Raymond traded in the law for hair.
He is a great all-rounder when it comes to hairdressing and barbering as he is experienced in both salon and session styling.
The 34-year-old enjoys cutting and colouring because he loves the transformations that can happen.
Jack is a 29-year-old cutting specialist who runs his own cutting courses which he promotes through his popular Instagram page.
He lives in the New Forest and has had the opportunity to work at London Fashion Week.

Lily-Rose is 20 years old and from Bristol.
Although she has only been a full stylist running her own column for about a year, he has just been made Assistant Manager of her salon at 19 years old.

Who are the judges of The Big Blow Out?
Judging the stylists will be legendary hairdresser Sam McKnight and award-winning hairdresser to the stars Lisa Farrall.
McKnight is a celebrated high-fashion session hairstylist.
He boasts a celebrated career spanning over four decades encompassing catwalks, editorials and advertising campaigns for an extensive list of clients.
He has worked with top fashion houses such as Chanel, Fendi, Balmain, Burberry and Tom Ford.
She is well-known in the hairdressing industry for being an expert in styling afro and textured hair.
Sam and Lisa will use their triumphant experience and knowledge as they offer advice and guidance to push these hopefuls to their limits to create eye-opening hairstyles.
The Big Blow Out will also feature a weekly guest judge.
