THE Chase viewers all thought a contestant looked like a famous movie spy as host Bradley Walsh made a cheeky joke.
Mark Campbell honoured his Scottish heritage and wore a kilt complete with matching green velour jacket.
Complete with a goatee and dark framed glasses, fans watching at home couldn’t help but think he looked a little bit like iconic character, Austin Powers.
Their observations were further cemented when Mark told Bradley he’d buy his mum a Mini Cooper complete with a Union Jack painted on to the bonnet if he won big on the show.
“This bloke looks like he should be in Austin Powers,” tweeted one fan.
“Turns on #thechase see austin powers and comes straight to twitter to double check its not just me.”
Despite getting a couple of Scottish-related questions wrong, Mark impressed Bradley with his knowledge and traditional outfit.
But Bradley couldn’t resist asking a cheeky question about his kilt after Mark said he kept his phone in his sporran – the traditional pouch that sits at the front of a kilt and serves as a pocket.

“Do you keep your phone on vibrate,” he asked as the players giggled.
Mark had a cracking cash builder round and then confidently took on Chaser, Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ ウォレス.
He and two teammates – Kyle and Laura – narrowly missed out on winning £27,000 as the Chaser caught them with fours seconds to go.
“They played very, 結構, but I was superb,” Shaun said to laughs from the audience.
Mark’s tense episode comes as another Chaser, Anne Hegerty revealed she had been replaced in the forthcoming series of Beat The Chasers.
ザ・ 63-year-old quizzer – known on the show as The Governess – explained she was ruled out of filming after catching Covid.
