The Sarah Jossel feature saw her showing off a number of highly priced items, including Liberty Men’s Advent Calendar for £245, Flannels Beauty Advent Calendar for £235 and the Jo Loves one for £335.

The cheapest one she showed was £50 and many felt the segment was distasteful in light of the current economic crisis.

Taking to Twitter to complain, 一个人写道: “#ThisMorning £235 on an advent calendar…they’re trolling us people.”

一秒说: “You need to think again if you think I’m gonna pay over £200 just for an advent calendar 🤯🤯 #ThisMorning.”

While a third moaned: “£200+ on an advent calendar?! #thismorning can’t read the room! My 10yr old asked for a £40 Lego advent calendar this year!! Il stick with buying him one for less than a fiver thanks!”

A fourth raged: “F**king idiots there’s Cost of living crisis #ThisMorning.”

And someone else added: “#ThisMorning How in the name of the baby Jesus would anyone spend that amount of money on make up when most families are going to be struggling to put so much as a plate of beans and toast on the table! 😢😢.”
