THE cheapest supermarket in the UK has once again been crowned – and it could save you £41 on a big shop.

It found the best place to go for a big shop was أسدا, where the items cost a total of £343.38.
It meant Asda continued its streak as the cheapest traditional supermarket, which started in January 2020.
The runner-up was Sainsbury’s, where the total came in at £353.15 for the 149 العناصر – £9.77 more than at Asda.

“Avoiding smaller convenience stores, opting for budget ranges and sticking to a shopping list are all ways to help you save money on your groceries.”
She added that shoppers can also bulk buy, look for yellow reduced stickers and either batch cook or freeze to avoid food waste in order to save.
