The Keep Kids Fed Act is a $3billion bill that was passed to amend the Families First Coronavirus Response Act to extend child nutrition waiver authority and for other purposes.
The bill which was approved by Congress on June 24, 2022, is meant to extend the school meal wavers that were set to expire on June 30, 2022.
It has given districts the funding and flexibilities required to deal with supply chain and flexibility issues.
