IT was the news all Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck fans had been waiting for – they finally confirmed they were engaged.

The singer was spotted wearing a massive diamond ring days before the couple admitted they were getting married.

When are Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck getting married?

An exact date for the Bennifer wedding is yet to be released, but going by the nature of their whirlwind romance, it could be sometime in 2022.

Jennifer also revealed their happy news in her On the JLo newsletter after being photographed sporting her new ring.

The New York native featured a clip of her admiring a large green diamond, which was sitting on her wedding ring finger.

When did they get back together?

Much to the surprise of fans, Ben and Jen rekindled their romance in 2021.

Reflecting on their whirlwind romantic journey, and what makes their connection different after all these years, the Grammy winner told اشخاص: “We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.”

She went on: “It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other.

“We always did, but we have even more of an appreciation because we know that life can take you in different directions.”

The Marry Me star concluded: “We have been in the game in the public eye long enough to know who we are as people and what really matters and what doesn’t matter.

“We have kids and we respect each other. … We really live our lives in a way we can be proud of and our kids can be proud of. We’re just operating from a place of love and respect for everyone in our lives and that is very important to us. We know what the truth is [و] we hold it sacred.”

Since getting back together the couple have purchased a $50million mansion together.

When did Ben and JLo first get together?

Ben and Jen first became Bennifer back 2002.

They met on the set of Gigli – a film that would go on to become a box-office bomb – while Jen was married to her second husband, Cris Judd.

Jen filed for divorce from Cris in June 2002 and her relationship with Ben took off shortly after the divorce was finalized.

Ben proposed to Jen with a 6-carat pink diamond ring in November 2002.

But they split in 2004 blaming “media attention”.
