Who was Coolio?

How did Coolio die?

Coolio was at a friend’s house late Wednesday afternoon when he went to the bathroom.

When he didn’t return, his friend reportedly began to call for him but didn’t get an answer.

The friend then called the paramedics, who pronounced Coolio dead on the scene.

While an official cause of death has not yet been issued, the EMTs who responded to the call suspect it was a heart attack.

Just days before his death, the rapper posted a video to his Instagram from Texas, where he was on stage touring.

That post has become a makeshift memorial as fans learn of his death.
