TWO people were found dead in a home after they failed to respond to messages from worried loved ones.
Police were scrambled to the house in Birmingham last night where they discovered the body of a woman, 21, and 47-year-old man.
A probe has now been launched a post mortem scheduled to establish a cause of death.
West Midland Police said they forced entry to the property after the pair did not respond to calls or messages.
The home has now been cordoned off while forensic officers comb for clues.
It is not clear if the tragic two are related but police believe the horror is isolated.
Specialist officers are now supporting their loved ones.
Chief Superintendent Mat Shaer from Birmingham East Police, mentionné: “This is truly awful and my heart goes out to the couple’s family and friends.
“It was clear that nothing could be done to save the man or woman.
“No doubt this will come as a huge shock to neighbours and the local community. But we believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the wider public.”
