A WOMAN was allegedly raped, starved and beaten for five days by her ex before escaping naked in the middle of the night.
Police in Florida arrested Charles Tanner, 51, on Wednesday after his alleged victim, identified only by her initials, A.H, managed to escape his grasp after suffering days of repeated sexual attacks.
The victim told investigators that she has known Tanner for five years and had been in a relationship with him, which ended a month ago.
She said that on June 3, she had gone to Tanner’s home after he offered to give her any drugs she wanted, court docs say.
After “enjoying her high” for a couple of hours, the woman claimed that Tanner demanded sex from her as payment.
However, things went south after Tanner became furious when he learned she was seeing another man who was African-American, according to an affidavit.

Investigators claim Tanner then kicked the woman in the head and held her captive over the next several days.
Cops claim the suspect would use drugs and “force himself” on the victim, court records say.
Tanner would allegedly use the woman’s phone to take pictures of her while she was unconscious and would send them to her friends, investigators claim.
The victim was sexually violated at least 10 times during her captivity, including raping her with sex toys, a cucumber and a corn cob, court docs claim.

Tanner also allegedly beat the woman with an electrical cord, denied her food and water, held a knife to her cheek, and threatened to slash her face and kill her.
Tanner allegedly slept on top of her or in a recliner blocking the bedroom door to prevent the woman from escaping at night.
After five days of torture, where she suffered two broken ribs, the woman ultimately managed to slip from underneath Tanner as he slept.
On the night of June 8, the woman ran to a neighbor’s home, naked and covered in bruises.
