Where is the Yotel London City?

The hotel is centrally-located on Clerkenwell Road, just minutes away from all London‘s major attractions.

Farringdon station is just a five-minute walk away with national rail and tube links.

What is the Yotel London City like?

The hotel is best used as a place to flop – it’s simple but affordable for its central location.

Everything is clean and modern, including the contact-free, self-service check-in via tablet, which meant I was able to retrieve my room key with just my name.

What is there to do at Yotel London City?

There isn’t anything to do on-site apart from use the gym, which is open 24 hours, plus there are some desks for remote workers.

However, the hotel is a short walk from Smithfield Market, Piano Works and Fabric nightclub.

What is there to eat and drink?

The hotel has the small all-day bar and restaurant, Komyuniti, which has street food-inspired dishes – a highlight being the hoisin duck bao – as well as craft beers and cocktails.

There is a limited buffet service in the mornings, with pastries, cereals, fruit and some hot options, or you can get a snack from their Grab + Go station.

What are the rooms at Yotel London City like?

There are 212 rooms – from singles to family – although all of them are pretty spacious.

Each has a hairdryer, towels and toiletries as well as a large widescreen TV and reading lights.

The highlight is the recliner-style beds you can put upright or fully flat using a remote, which I had way too much fun playing around with.

The ensuite bathrooms include rainfall showers and a separate toilet, while some of the suites have great views of the city including St Paul’s Cathedral and The Shard.

How much does Yotel London City cost?

Rooms start at £139 per night on a room-only rate. See yotel.com.

Is Yotel London City family friendly?

It’s very geared up for families with bunk rooms and triple rooms.

Is there access for guests with disabilities?

Yes, there is wheelchair access.
